Lennexe Productions is  excited to announce that we are officially in pre-production on our first Feature Film!

It is an Action Thriller titled “The Prey”, we will be shooting this Summer in the Los Angeles Area.  This will be the first feature length film directed by the Hensman Brothers Cire and Matthew, after directing a few short films together.  The last film they directed was a horror film titled “Put on a Happy Face” that was excepted into five film festivals including INDIE-FEST in Chicago.  The script was originally titled “The Lost Patrol” and was penned by Gustavo Sainz.  Cire Hensman met Gustavo Sainz at one of the OC Screenwriters networking meetings and they decided to work together after a few experiences on the set together.  After a few failed attempts to get funding over a three year period, Gus gave Cire a call one last time to see if he had time to meet with a producer in LA.  When Gus asked Cire when he was available to meet with the Executive Produced Juan Feldman at a posh hotel in Santa Monica, Cire dropped everything he was doing and went that night!

We are very excited to work with a great production team including: Producer – Ross Otterman, Assoc. Producers – Al Medina, Mark Sevi, Victor Phan, Chris Armstrong, Storyboard Artist – Richard Carter, and Post Production Supervisor – Itai Levin.

This film will be shot on the new Red Epic 5K Widescreen Camera.  We are currently casting the film and securing locations!

PLOT:
U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan become trapped in a cave that is inhabited by a deadly Creature.

Supporting / Female / 20-30 / Any ethnicity, Army nurse, very tough but still feminine, able to hold her own with the rugged male soldiers.

CHEF:
